It’s a hard time to be a human.
And if you’re a human who is also an empath… it’s really, really hard.
The truth is most humans are empaths. We sense the vibration of others, and sometimes we take those feelings on as our own because we don’t know 1) that the feelings we sense aren’t ours and 2) even if we get the first part, we don’t know what to do about it.
So it’s hard…and especially hard right now because of all the feelings that are floating around in the air.
People are anxious, nervous and upset, we’re waiting for the other shoe to drop, waiting for the inauguration, waiting for the next uniquely flavored 2020 disaster. And some of us are picking up on ALL of that.
I’ll be honest, I’m an empath and a clair-cognizant and I’m a life coach, so I teach people how to manage emotions, and how to clear the emotional field of gunk…and even I am struggling right now! There is just so so much and some days it feels like I’m trying to move through pea soup because the energy is so heavy.
So first… let me give you a few tips for managing the heaviness. And if you’ve read this far, I know you get it…you know what this feels like…
But just in case…
If you
👉have ringing in your ears
👉have headaches
👉feel general anxiety with no personal specific cause
👉have weird negative thoughts that seem to pop up
👉feel a heaviness in your chest
👉seem to automatically take deep breaths
👉feel stuck
You are likely an empath.
So when these things occur
First…Breathe
Take a big deep breath, hold it at the top of the inhale for a few seconds then exhale
Take another one
Put your feet on the ground and imagine that you are sending all of the ickiness, negative thoughts, feelings and energy down to the core of the earth.
Imagine that once the energy gets there, it is transformed into a beautiful white light and returned to you as peaceful calm energy
Breathe again
Remember that you have absolutely no control over the things that happen around you, but you have 100% control over how you react to those things.
